Summary
The captain looked back at Louis, and for a second their eyes met. Up close, his were an even colder green than they had seemed from across the deck, sharp and unreadable beneath the crossing scar. Louis had just enough time to think that trying to look harmless was probably worth the effort.
Then the captain said, flat as anything, “Throw him overboard.”
The words hit Louis like a blow and for a heartbeat, nothing happened. The crew stood shocked in the sudden quiet, boots shifting uneasily against the wet planks.
“EXCUSE ME?!” Louis snapped, outrage shooting through him so fast it burned straight past caution.
Or- Louis always knew he was different. Mostly because normal people do not make the sky lose its mind every time they have a strong feeling.
Then his father betrays him to the king, the royal guards come knocking, and Louis runs for his life, only to accidentally end up on a pirate ship, because apparently things can always get worse. Now he’s stuck with a crew of chaotic alphas who think hygiene is negotiable, a scarred captain with a personality to match, and the growing suspicion that the royal dungeon might actually have been the less stressful option.

The door opens, swinging inward and being stopped in its tracks by a firm hand before it hits the wall. Louis looks up, smile plastered on, ready to greet the man who can’t, as an adult, tie his own bloody tie.
The smile falls.
As does Louis’ stomach, hurtling towards the floor like a poorly-made fairground ride.
No. No. Absolutely fucking not.
If there’s one bright side to this, it’s that Harry looks as shocked as he does, standing frozen in the doorway like he just opened the door to the ghost of fucking Christmas past.
or, Louis and Harry broke up three years ago. The last thing Louis expects to see when he’s sent to help a guest is Harry, 3000 miles away from where he’s supposed to be.

Louis Tomlinson lives in a world where Domination and Submission is a norm. When you are born you are either branded Sub or Dom. Subs get a little pink or blue, depeneding on gender, series of swirls on the back of their neck. Doms get Red or Black, depending on gender, series of swirls on the back of their neck.
Louis Tomlinson was branded with a Blue tattoo and his day has finally come. The day of his 18th birthday where he will be randomly assigned a Dom. This dom could range from younger to older, poorer to richer, and male to female. You never knew what you were going to get. Some Doms were more harsher and stricter than others. Louis didn't want a harsh Dom to submit to.
Harry Styles was branded with a Black tattoo and he just recieved in the mail that he was finally getting a submissive. Harry was a 32 year old man, settled in, and very very rich. He's been waiting for an assigned submissive to be chosen for him for a very long time. His Dom friend, Zayn, has gotten his submissive two years prior, a little spit fire irish boy, Niall.
