“Well, er, Alex?” Henry stammers, but Alex just grabs his hand to ground him.
“Yes, girls, it’s true. Henry and I are dating.”
Jane and Camila grab hands and bounce up and down. They both start squealing at the top of their lungs.
“That’s the greatest news ever,” they shout, still jumping.

Alex stirs slowly and before he’s even halfway awake he notices the empty side of the bed next to him. He reaches out to touch it – it’s not cold but it’s also not warm. He looks at the clock – 2:30 in the morning. He then registers the soft sound of a piano, and smiles. It's been three days of ‘too much’ as Alex calls it. Alex doesn’t know what brought it on this time, sometimes this just happens. But Henry's out of bed and at his piano, so it's a start.
