Armand clicked his tongue. “There’s still time.”
“You wouldn’t. Too much to clean.”
It was as though the boy was goading him into killing him, almost. Did his self-preservation instincts run that low? Was he attempting some sort of repartee with the vampire who was going to kill him?
“It’s a cocky assumption,” Armand said.
“You’d put a tarp down, at least.”
Armand narrowed his gaze. Daniel Molloy wasn’t fascinating. He was insane.
