“Your teeth are going to fall out.” Ronan said, grabbing the red pack that sat between them on the stone bench. He broke the seal on the pack, opening it, and flipping one cigarette over before removing a different one to smoke.
“How considerate.” K said in a puff of smoke. “Flipping my lucky for me.” His gaze flitted over to Ronan.
“I’m practically cooking you breakfast, lunch and dinner.”
“Nah, you’d have to flip two more cigs for that.”
Ronan couldn’t help but laugh at that one. Kavinsky was so bony, it would be hard to believe if he didn’t only have cigarettes as meals. He didn’t think he’d ever seen Kavinsky eat anything but communion crackers and pills.
