Angel’s looking beautiful in his drag outfit save for the wig, softer than Husk has ever seen him before, “Are ya still mad I saved ya life?” He spoke in that shy, sweet voice that Husk’d grew fond of. Saying it as if he were really, truly upset about it.

Summary
A night of alcohol and half-spoken confessions at the casino seems to be the turning point Husk and Angel Dust needed. Amidst the smoke, the whiskey, and the echo of a devastating performance, the walls come down, and for the first time, Husk allows himself to admit what he feels.
However, in Hell, happiness is a luxury that comes at a high price, and sincerity often arrives too late. Just as the distance between them vanishes, a phone call shatters the spell, reminding Husk that there are chains stronger than love... and that sometimes, the last drink is the one left unfinished.
A story about the exact moment when everything could have changed, and how it vanished in a second.
(This fic diverges from Episode 6, slightly altering events to create a canon-divergent timeline... because, honestly, I can't survive a year-long wait like this. The original is in Spanish, in case you want to check it out and support it.)

Summary
The afterlife is turned upside-down as the Princess of Hell and her allies fight for her dreams to become a reality.
"Redemption of the Light" (ROTL) is a collection of my various ideas pertaining to Hazbin Hotel and its lore, especially the Morningstar Family, the creation of Hell, and the realm's battle against Heaven. No smut/nsfw will be included (though I may mention more sexual concepts/themes throughout). Mentions of blood, gore, violence, implied abuse/assault, war, etc. may be included as well (see individual chapters for tags).
Do note I'm not "rewriting" the show in the sense that I think it's poorly written. Actually, it's quite the opposite. I am merely using the show and its concepts as a creative exercise, to see where I personally could take this project. It's all for fun and to word vomit about my current obsession with this project :)
