Soulmate!AU, which is based on an asian belief about the red threads of fate, sometimes also referred to as red threads of marriage.
Every two people are linked through space by a red thread that can only be seen by Soulmates themselves. Though for every rule there is room for an exception. Charles Xavier is one of those exceptions, and he is working on understanding the world around him and doing everything in his power to help his own kind - and trying to stay sane in doing so.
