Summary
The main fic for Senku and Yuuchi is the other one in this series, "For Whom the Clock's Ticking Slows." This one is just a bunch of little anecdotes I'm either using to practice writing these two or to get my own feelings out so it's possible some of these (all of them) are just based on my life. ty. Most will be in a modern setting, and each chapter will be a different story -- I'll clarify the rating of the chapter and tags that apply in the chapter summary so you can skip the stuff you don't want to read. this is how I cope

Summary
Yuuchi Hiraishi, Senku's best friend and lab partner since middle school, could never imagine himself being a priority revival thanks to one important factor: he has no skill. None. Nothing. Zero.
But he is a priority revival, and the reason remains lost on him for a very long time. Even after countless trials and countless errors. Countless hopeless shapeless nights of wondering what his purpose could possibly be among skilled scientists and talented captains and warriors that could behead someone like him with a single strike.
And countless nights of making sure Senku gets enough rest.

Summary
This important observation can't be ignored: the crack marks everybody receives after being depetrified seem to signify an important, possibly fate-bound, relationship with the person whose mark matches. Senku has never felt so deterred. Not exactly because his mark matches Gen's... not for any specific reason, really. But he's never been one to bend to fate, and that won't change now.

It's something you and Senku both want to explore, but your difference in opinion with this pragmatic-brained scientist and the way he influences his surroundings causes you to ask yourself some challenging questions. You love Senku. You also love your God. Will you have to choose between spirituality and science?
or
The line between rigid rationality and your powerful faith grows more and more blurry with time. Senku helps you in unexpected ways.

Summary
“And you’re… planning on flying to space by yourself?”
Ishigami sighs. “Not exactly. That sort of thing is too risky to test alone. I’ll have to wait to actually go there myself. The rocket I make will be pretty small but—"
“But you’ll still launch it,” Tsukasa interrupts. “You’ll make something that will go all the way up there.”
Ishigami pauses, watching Tsukasa carefully. “Yeah. I’ll do it no matter what.”
A strange sensation bubbles up in Tsukasa’s chest and runs through his entire body like electricity. His lips curl into a smile, and he can’t help leaning closer.
“I want to see it,” Tsukasa says. “When you get there, will you show me?”
-
From their very first meeting as children, Shishio Tsukasa and Ishigami Senku are enamoured with one another. Deciding to build up an unbreakable friendship is easy, it's perfectly logical. The difficult thing is holding onto it amidst earth-shattering changes, the steady passage of time, and the romantic feelings simmering slowly to the surface.
OR; a trek through the lives of Senku and Tsukasa from childhood to adulthood, and how they're intrinsically intertwined all the while.

Summary
Ishigami Senkuu is expecting, and would prefer, to make it through highschool without any of the stupid drama expected of one's highschool years or whatever. Especially none of the stupid romantic drama. Which works perfectly fine for him - Taiju and Yuzuriha's constant will-they-wont-they is more than he needs to be subjected to, and those two are all the friends he really needs, anyways.
Unfortunately his luck has a reputation for being horrible, and there's also a really cute new guy in his class. Who also somehow happens to be a former MMA champion?? at 16 years old??
So our poor hero is subjected to his first ten billion percent unnecessary teenage crush. Chaos ensues.

Summary
You just got bodied by the Math portion of the SBAC.
Like—not a little off. Not a couple slip-ups. You, a high-performing student with a reputation for crushing numbers like bugs, full-on flopped. Guessed on the last ten. Stared at a graph like it personally betrayed you. Left the testing room feeling like a peeled shrimp.
Now you’re at a janky-ass arcade with Senku Ishigami, who somehow dragged you here under the guise of “post-SBAC serotonin.” You’re spiraling in silence, trying to remember what 𝑓(𝑥) even means, and Senku?
Senku’s being an insensitive asshole.
Until he’s not.
