Humans were no longer weak. They now possessed power their ancestors from thousands of years ago could never have imagined. But behind that power, there was a price to be paid. Monsters from another world appeared one after another, like mushrooms after a heavy rain. Those who were granted such power united to eliminate the monsters.

Hundreds of years passed in the blink of an eye.

The year 3470 of the New Era.

A priest from the Temple of the God of Time Oronyx strangely fell asleep for three weeks. Then, he suddenly woke up. The first thing he said was, “The end is near.”

“We won’t reach the year 3800 of the New Era.”

He repeated that phrase for three days straight like a broken cassette. Three months later, he died.
