Summary
“Specter,” came the deep, smooth, confident voice on the other end.
Mike swallowed. Wow. He sounds– hot. Okay. focus. Don’t sound like a complete idiot.
“Uh…hi. I’m Mike,” he said, trying to sound casual. “I…I’m calling totally random numbers and see if they wanna hang out.”
There was a pause. Then: “That sounds pretty dangerous, Mike. You shouldn’t do that.”
Mike laughed. “I am a grown man. I’m twenty-eight. And we’d be meeting in a public place. So, not that dangerous.”
“Well, kid,” the voice drawled, “how do you know I’m not a serial killer or a kidnapper?”
Serial killer? Why does that sound hot. No, Mike, that's terrifying. Definitely terrifying.

Summary
“Excuse me, sorry…”
Mike turned, and before he could even register what was happening, a guy with a gimbal and phone stepped into their space.
“Are you two a couple?”
“No! We’re not!” Mike squeaked, practically launching himself out of frame, walking away like his life depended on it. He was not emotionally prepared for this today.
“Why are you asking? What is this for?” Harvey’s voice was cool, collected—as always.
Mike paused mid-step, torn between hiding in the nearest alley or going back to make sure Harvey didn’t ruin his life on camera.
“We go all over New York and ask people how they met. It’s called MeetcutesNYC,” the guy explained.
Oh no. No no no. Mike already knew. He knew the moment Harvey said “Ohh” in that voice—the one that meant he was upto no good.Series

Summary
The thing was, Mike knew Harvey and Donna weren’t exactly subtle people. When they wanted something, they usually just said it.
So when the two of them told him, plainly, that their roles—Daddy, Mommy—were on the table if he wanted them to be, Mike had nodded. He’d said something cool, something like, "Yeah, okay, no problem, whatever works for you guys," and he’d meant it.
Except then he’d gone home that night and laid awake staring at the ceiling, the words "Daddy" and "Mommy" circling in his head like they had nowhere better to be.
