Idia knew better than most what it meant to devote your life to someone, to practically become an NPC if it meant being support for the real hero. He felt like that for Ortho, especially now that the kid had a soul of his own. And he knew Silver felt like that for Malleus, overrated as the guy was. Still, Idia wanted Silver to know what it was like to have someone devoted entirely to him, if only during these intimate moments where the rest of the world fell away.

Summary
There was a reason that Idia always made visual novel references. He’d been fascinated by them ever since he could treat reading material in a game-like fashion and enjoy a compelling story--sometimes having the power to alternate the endings--and from there, he became hooked. It was a large reason that he also learned to make some of his own personal ones in his spare time, much like a diary expressed in a medium he could appreciate.
