Summary
Ben and Gia meet at Delaney University in August of 2021 and become fast friends. When Ben learns of Brooklynn's death in March of 2022, Gia is there for him as the rest of his family falls apart. When Gia's own problems threaten to send her spiraling, Ben is right by her side.
A story about the strength of platonic love in the hardest of times. Happy pride to my fellow aros and aces!

Summary
His back slams into the grass, head knocking against the ground with an audible thud. Ben’s knees straddle his stomach, hands gripping the fabric of Kenji’s sleeves and effectively pinning him to the dirt. Kenji struggles against the hold for a minute, trying and failing repeatedly to sit up and push Ben’s weight off of his chest. The small boy had always been deceptively strong, but post-jungle Ben was easily stronger than most of them combined, other than Sammy, probably. He was light and thin, thus not entirely uncomfortable on top of Kenji’s torso, but the power in Ben’s taught muscles leaves Kenji giving up his attempts to free himself almost immediately.

Wrestling with the weight of his own mistakes and the knowledge that his dad might not be the man he thought he was, Kenji is willing to do whatever it takes to get Bumpy back, even if Ben will never forgive him.

Summary
There’s no time to apologize for her reckless panic. The parking brakes of the truck in front of them hiss and the driver steps down from the cabin to shift some sort of barricade out of the way. Both Yaz and Sammy duck down as far as they can in their seats, even though the vehicle is hidden away by the fog. It’s old habits that have them ducking for cover when it’s not practical. Those jungle instincts never really leave you, Ben admitted to her once. She hadn’t had the heart then to tell him that wasn’t a good thing.

After nearly drowning, Sammy, Yaz, and Ben sneak on board a DPW truck with the dinosaur that almost killed them, desperate for answers. Now they have to successfully break into a secret dinosaur trafficking operation, gather evidence for Darius and Kenji, and make it out alive. Piece of cake.
Sequel to Waterlogged, though if you really don't want to read that one, I'll provide a short summary in the notes. A rewrite of the second half of Chaos Theory season one, with some extra hurt Ben and Yazsammy love. Told from Sammy's perspective. Rated Teen for injuries and language.

When the campers finally accept that Ben is gone for good, he reappears to save Kenji and Brooklynn. One by one, each member of the Nublar Six must come to terms with their own grief and regrets surrounding Ben's apparent death - and his triumphant survival.

Summary
Yaz’s vision began to narrow, emptiness creeping in as she stared unseeingly at Ben’s lax face. Sammy had begun counting out loud at some point, her voice breathy and broken and the only sound Yaz could still process without passing out. She felt herself returning to the fearful state that had almost ruined her life so long ago. Her breath hitched and she started coughing violently, turning her head slightly to the side as her treacherous eyes finally released the tears she had been holding back. Sammy’s steady rhythm hesitated before quickly returning, louder this time. Yaz didn’t know how many cycles of thirty she had run through already. If she did, she probably wouldn’t have been able to live with it.
Of every person on the planet, it always had to be Ben.

When the Becklespinax forces Ben's van off the bridge, Yaz, Sammy, and Ben are left to drown. Only one of them takes the universe up on it.No major character death! Rated teen just in case.
