Xie Lian stares. And stares. And stares. And then he screeches; he’s sort of freaking out right now. “S-San Lang!” he wails, immediately turning around so that he’s facing the window instead.
Because Hua Cheng has no shame, because Hua Cheng wants to see him flustered, he naturally repeats the sentence—and when he speaks again, his voice comes from just over Xie Lian’s shoulder and his fingers have wrapped themselves around Xie Lian’s wrist. “You love me,” he whispers in awe, as if stunned by the admission.
The force of Xie Lian’s ensuing blush could melt through steel.
