Spider decides to go with Quaritch knowing he could never face the Sully’s, at least not right now. Quaritch said he would do anything for Spider, and Spider knew exactly what could he provided for him. Something that was never verbally promised, but something he knew deep down everyone knew he wanted.

Spider is living life with the Sully’s after the events of the ship. He hasn’t talked to anyone about what happened or how he feels. He’s been getting less sleep recently and Jake is worried. One night when he goes to sleep he has a dream that just makes him long for his father, Quaritch. He has to be awoken by the harsh reality he lives in.

Summary
Quackity spat out a clot of blood, wiping his lips with the back of his sleeve. The brunet’s face was a mess of bruises and cuts, skin turning sickening shades of purple and yellow. Despite all this, he leveled a defiant glare at the figure above him. “Fuck you, George. You have no power here.”
George only hummed thoughtfully. Behind him, DreamXD stood, motionless and completely silent, mere inches above the ground, body thrumming with unused power. The deity’s mask covered his eyes, and his green robes waved slightly in a wind none of them felt. The tiny king squatted down to Quackity’s level, a mocking pout gracing his lips. His eyes sparkled with mirth. “Oh? Is that really what you still think, even after all this?”

Karl Jacobs was leaning on his friend, red cup in hand, laughing happily. Sapnap didn’t know him then, didn’t know his name or anything about him, except his laugh and smile and purple sweater. He sat up, struggling to balance. Dream’s laughter cut through, interrupting Karl in Sapnap’s mind, and he clumsily hit Dream on the mouth to shut up.
“What is it?” Dream asked, grabbing Sapnap’s shoulder to keep him up.
“Pretty,” Sapnap said.
