Sirius is known to be the brightest star in the Great Dog constellation. This statement is true, not only in astrology but in real life as well. People who know Sirius Black also know how much of a star he is and how he likes to shine bright. The Marauders knew that too well, especially Remus. He saw how his bestfriend shined and showed off. How he made girls swoon and fight over him. How cocky he was. That infuriated Remus but also made him intrigued by this kind of behavior. The bright light emanating from Sirius made him want to come closer, turning him into some kind of moth, metaphorically of course. He could only hope that this isn't some kind of modernized version of the myth about Icarus, with Sirius being the sun and him being the fool that got too close. But that only time can tell...
