Summary
A temporal anomaly sends a 28-year-old version of Bruce Wayne into the Batcave, displacing the present-day Batman. This younger Bruce remembers everything up to two years after taking Dick in as Robin, but nothing beyond that. The Batfamily is stunned — not just by his sudden arrival, but by how different he is from the man they know. This Bruce is still distant, but he isn’t closed off. He listens. He speaks without harshness. He carries himself with calm control instead of cold detachment.
For most of the team, it’s a version of Bruce they’ve never seen — only glimpsed in rare moments of warmth. But for Dick and Jason, it’s someone they remember. Dick sees the man who tried, in his own flawed way, to be present.
