Summary
“Adrian is married?” Chris says, shocked enough that Economos gets the mouse back from under his hand.
“Oh, that,” Harcourt says, passing the table with a pair of folders in her hands and seeming entirely unconcerned.
“Who’s he – ?” Chris bodily shoves Economos’ chair across the floor, then grabs the mouse again to click at the link under the relationship status.
“Wait, don’t –”
“What the fuck?” Chris says, clicking back to the Vigilante profile a second time, then the link again, but it still goes to Peacemaker. “Is this broken?”

Summary
“I think I’m in love with you.”
The radio sputters, silencing Ella Fitzgerald with a harsh crunch of discordant static. For a long moment, the silence is deafening.
Heart pounding, Lucifer dares to peek through his fingers.
Alastor is staring at him mutely. His crimson eyes are blown wide, grin frozen in a rictus of astonishment; every inch of him thrums with newfound tension, radiating sickening discomfort in a way that would be palpably obvious even if he wasn’t also emitting a faint, shrill whine of feedback through the airwaves.
Then, very faintly: “No.”
Or: Lucifer has never been very good at recognizing his own feelings. Unluckily for him, Alastor knows exactly how he feels about the L word. Also, soup.
