She had expected a snappy retort—I don’t suppose you have a better one?—but it didn’t come. Instead, Obi-Wan paused, just long enough to rest a hand on her shoulder. “It is a plan that has served countless generations of Jedi before us,” he said. “It will not fail us now.”
She hoped he was right.
When the fuel tanker they are escorting suffers an unexpected attack, Ahsoka, Anakin, and Obi-Wan must find a way to keep hope—and each other—alive.

Beneath her, clones and Republic officers are being hastily escorted off the vessel with maximal chatter- the Republic has fallen, and the Empire has risen, Sidious was the Chancellor and was killed by three Sith, and now their captors greet them gruffly and ask for their cooperation in their assimilation. The men seem somewhat disconcerted, but otherwise no one is speaking of the presence of the ex-Jedi who accidentally hitchhiked onto the ship.

After a botched thievery on Serenno, she comes across a particular group of defected clones, one of which a friend she thought long dead. Together they brave the galaxy and its many facets, and soon Ahsoka realizes she may not be as alone as she previously thought.
