“It’s not mine,” she offers, with a shrug, and Bdubs perks up. “Mom beat a zombie’s skull in with a rake out in the yard,” he chirps.

Scar was finding it extremely hard to concentrate on the words being said above the sound of blood rushing in his ears. It was despicable, what Grian was saying, it made every single hair on his arms bristle with wrongness. But his teeth were stretching again, cartilage weaponising themselves into daggers, his claws pricked his palms where he was clenching them into fists. He could feel himself losing control, spots dancing across his vision.
And there was a bird sitting in front of him.

Scar is hungry, and Grian loses his first life in a different way to canon.

"I recommend you forget what happened tonight and go back inside your house, or I will make you." Legundo glared at the vampire as he continued to stalk around him, unaffected. The doctor's pupils were slightly blown and a trail of sweat was forming on his skin.
"So you're not a vampire or a seer. But you know things. You walk through this place like you own it. Everyone keeps struggling with getting lost, even when they're together, but you don't have that problem."
"You don't want to pick this fight, Scott." The vampire refused to stop. He was putting the pieces together. The only other potential explanation was impossible, or at the very least improbable. But it made sense. A smile crept along his face as it suddenly clicked.
"You're in a time loop."

Being trapped with the person you dislike most is bad. Being trapped in Oakhurst forever is even worse. Being trapped with Doctor Legundo? Now, that's where things get interesting.
Too bad Scott Goldsmith is in all three of these and he's being completely normal about it.

Summary
Legundo moved closer to the edge of his small ship, trying to spot the source of the terrifying music. Overnight, his ship had drifted into a rocky area, the gaps between the boulders just wide enough to guarantee a safe passage even for a sailor that was asleep. The sun rays blocked his view slightly, forcing him to squint with his good eye to properly make out anything in the rocks. Eventually, he caught a glimpse of stunning cyan hair.
It was a man, but he was clearly not human. Gills sprouted from the sides of his head and sparkling blue scales littered his pale skin. A tail spouted from where his legs were supposed to be, cascading into the water and swishing slightly. Legundo found himself craning his neck to get a better look at the creature. The siren.

OR:
Legundo is on the run after deserting the army and meets a siren that he decides to give a chance while escaping his sins. Meanwhile, Scott isn't happy his new lovely soldier is a pathetic human, so he'll have to fix that.
