During the canon Big Shot Era, the Dreemurrs buy a Smart TV. Tenna's world, literally, comes crashing down around him, and he's just trying to survive his worst nightmare of being alone.
In the power vacuum, Spamton has become much more than a mailman or an Addison, but he's never stopped looking for his partner.

After all, he'd had this dream many, many times before.
He knew better than to reach out - he'd tried it so many times, in so many dreams, and it always broke the illusion, and he'd hate himself for hours, wishing for just a few more minutes with his partner. But he couldn't stop his trembling hands from stretching towards that little light, trying to catch a falling star.

The only thing that mattered was having Tenna close. Keeping him safe.
Making sure he stayed.

Summary
It wasn't the same as it once was, to be fair. That was only to be expected, even if there wasn't the added issue of… everything Spamton had been through. It took a lot, admittedly, for Tenna to keep his mouth shut about just how sad it made him to think about. It wasn't like it would help anything.
(Besides, Spamton welcomed cuddling now. This alone practically made Tenna's entire life worth it.)
Unfortunately, one thing hadn't changed, and it was the fact that Spamton's physical health left a lot to be desired.
