ray toro is a famous movie director and producer. best known for his film the black parade and happy together, both starring his muse and childhood friend, gerard way. deciding that hollywood and the ‘jet-set life’ was too much for him, he returns home to his treasured kearny, new jersey. while on a late night walk around his new apartment, he comes across a café open at strange hours. behind the counter was a cute boy though, so ray could make it work in his schedule.
tl;dr ray is a movie director, mikey works at a local café. after moving back to new jersey, ray lives near the café mikey owns and becomes a regular customer. set in 2000 but none of it is accurate so im vibing my way through this.

Summary
When Frank, a sickly young man, is advised by his doctors to leave London for the country, he makes arrangements to stay with his friend Michael, who just so happens to be in possession of a large, old, and somewhat creepy manor house. What Frank has no idea of at the time is that Michael has an older brother, whose presence in the house he conceals. Gerard is an eccentric recluse who spends most of his time hiding in the attic and avoiding any kind of interaction with people, but he finds himself fascinated with Frank, who in turn realizes that the house has secrets, and becomes determined to uncover them. When he finally does discover Gerard, their first meeting is only the beginning of their story.

Just outside of Battery City, Party Poison is known as the fearsome and powerful leader of the rebel group 'The Killjoys'. Their group the main protectors of The Zones, they have managed to keep peace in their home for a long time. However, after happening upon a mysterious figure out in the desert, Poison is soon introduced to the threats looming over them, looming over those they love. The figure, now known as Fun Ghoul, joins Poison's team of Killjoys and swears to fights alongside them to keep The Zones, and it's inhabitants, safe.
Poison has always known of the dangers the world has to offer, alas as time goes on they will learn a brand new fear, a fear so intense that it may just affect their plans to keep their home safe. A fear known by many, and one that, as Poison will discover, has two sides to it. One side that might just make Poison feel more alive then they've ever felt, the other side ready to ruin everything they are. The fear of falling deeply for someone, only to lose them.What is BL/ind planning? How does Fun Ghoul connect to it all? And what in God's name will Poison do if it comes between saving their people, or the man they love?
