The kiss heard 'round the world after the 2017 Stanley Cup Finals forces Hayden Pike and Cliff Marleau to reconsider the things their hands did in their teen years. "Da, baby tell me, come on tell it. Tell me now– fuck, you feel so—" Ilya groaned. He kept hitting Shane’s prostate perfectly, brutally rutting up against it, his hips hitting the same point. “See? Told you, you love it. You love Ilya Rozanov."
The tradition is simple: one gift per year of his life. Hayden Pike has been Ilya Rozanov's friend long enough to know exactly what he likes. Shane Hollander has been Hayden Pike's friend long enough to know better than to trust him.

Summary
Shane wants to figure out if he's gay before he gets drafted—and no, the way he felt when Ilya Rozanov smirked at him with a cigarette between his lips in Saskatchewan has nothing to do with it. Unfortunately, the random guy he hooks up with to try and make sure one way or another takes a picture, and Shane gets outed before the draft. In the ensuing scandal, he goes seventh overall, to Ottawa.
It turns out, having the worst thing you can think of happen to you when you're seventeen years old can end up being pretty liberating. And land you an unexpected best friend.
