A head pops up on the other side of Straw Hat; the last of the fading sunlight refracts off Roronoa’s earrings, winking at her. “Oh,” he says, sounding only mildly surprised to see her. “You’re here too.”
“What are you talking about? What’s going on?”
Roronoa grins. “Yeah. He does this.”
Nami props herself up a little higher on her already bruising elbow. Straw Hat’s got an arm wrapped around Roronoa, same as her, pinning him to his other side.
“Okay,” Nami says, feeling her third headache in as many hours beginning to creep up. “What is this?”
“How he sleeps, I guess. Been doing it since we started sailing together.”
“You’re joking.”
Roronoa shrugs.
“Well, how do we get him to let go?”
“Dunno. Haven’t figured that part out yet,” Roronoa says and then, because he’s no help at all, lays back down.

Nami never once let herself want since Bellemere died; she told herself that food and clothes and jewelry, sex and kindness and friendship and love, everything was secondary. She had Bellemere and Nojiko’s love, and that had to be enough to tide her over till she bought Coco village back. She’s lived like that so long that the hunger in her is new and strange, an alarming, consuming sort of hunger. She wants like Luffy wants, suddenly; she wants to stuff herself until her stomach is ready to burst and keep eating. She wants Usopp to hold her softly like he does, and tell her stories about fanciful things. She wants the blond guy- what the fuck’s his name, Sanji?- to throw himself at her feet and she wants Luffy to call her ‘nakama’ again, because it makes her heart feel like it’s going to turn into a hummingbird.

But pulling over Max Mayfield driving her brother’s Camaro at the ripe age of thirteen was pretty insane. Sure, kids will be kids and kids will be crazy. Until Steve Harrington crawled out of the backseat, clutched his knees and horror-movie hurled blood all over his boots and shit got crazier.
That took it from a minor concern to oh, fuck. Callahan has to take this kid to a hospital.

Sure, they've saved the world, but the best part of that really is that it doesn't end there and in a town where everyone thinks he murdered a girl, he's at least got Steve Harrington and Robin Buckley. It's really not his fault he accidentally starts living at Steve's house, he was invited, after all. There's a mystery too, about Barbara Holland and Steve's pool.
“Your boner is digging into me,” says Robin, and Steve snorts a tired sort of laugh.

“Okay, but it’s only a little one,” he says in a small voice which sounds like he’s impersonating someone.
“Are you ever going to let that go? I peed a little bit when the Russians got the torture devices out, okay?” She sounds amused, though.
Eddie jolts. “Russian torture devices?”
Robin carries on like she didn’t hear him but Steve catches his eye and he’s grinning. “How do you even have a boner dude? You were definitely having a nightmare I know your twitching means a nightmare… Did you have a boner over Vecna?”
