Summary
Merlin’s always been attuned with his magical side since birth. Hunith fears for his safety and sends him to her eccentric half brother-in-law, Gaius, a professor at Hogwarts. Meanwhile during his stay, Merlin meets all sorts of magical beasts, beings, and spirits. After helping Merlin contain his magic, Gaius retires to become a wand maker as Merlin decides to rejoin the muggle world. Gaius turns Abies into a tree nursery and sanctuary for magical beasts. Any materials he is unable to grow or harvest, he requests from overseas. Merlin joins Gaius in his tranquil home once again after college.
Meanwhile, in the wizarding world, evil strikes at the root and core of magic-–wands. Arthur Pendragon, the youngest Auror in British wizarding history, seeks his former professor, Gaius, in hopes of answering some questions. When most of the manufactured wands in question point towards Gaius as the criminal, Arthur and Merlin must work together to clear Gaius’ name and discover what is happening in Abies and to the magical creatures of the wizarding world.

“Told him?” Cyno asks slowly, a wary glint in his eye. “What exactly haven’t you told him?”
“That I’m getting married,” Kaveh grimaces. “I wanted to tell him myself – I suppose I do want him at the wedding after all, you know – but I didn’t get a chance yet. You know what it’s like, trying to have a conversation with him.”
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.
Kaveh is a single man. That's about it, really.or: the one in which Kaveh gets married, but not to whom you think.

Summary
Kaveh bites the inside of his cheek, his head full of images of all the possible positions a man can lie with another. It’s unsettling how vividly he can recall the pleasure of something he’s never done.
He really should have known better than to use a suspicious knowledge capsule. Much less one called The Arts of Men: Advanced Techniques Vol. 1. What was he thinking?—
Kaveh uses a knowledge capsule that isn’t exactly what he thought it would be. Alhaitham lends him a hand – or two.

Summary
Kaveh starts a garden, right outside the window his drafting desk faces.
At first, it’s not much. A few sprouts here and there, and a few flowers he managed to convince Tighnari to let him transplant. Tighnari had offered to help, but Kaveh, stubbornly as ever, had refused, saying this was something he needed to do on his own.
(Tighnari has the kindness not to ask if it’s really gardening that’s on Kaveh’s mind.)
In which friends with benefits comes with more issues than benefits. Or, Kaveh learns what it means to fall without guardrails.
