Summary

Summary
Alastor, a naiad rather fond of venturing into the woods, is caught slaying a deer favoured by Artemis. His father is sent to consult an oracle, to determine appropriate punishment. On his return, he exiles Alastor to the mountains – where his real punishment, his monstrous, fated spouse-to-be, will come find him at nightfall.
Alastor goes as bidden, and rapidly discovers that whatever monstrous traits his promised one may have, he may not lay his eyes upon. His fiance treats him well, all things considered, appearing in the evening to keep Alastor company at night, and vanishing at dawn. He only asks for one thing in return: that Alastor never seek to see him.
An Eros (Greek: Love) and Psyche (Ancient Greek: Soul) retelling.

Summary
Alastor was not accustomed to waking slowly. In life, and even more so in death, his mind had been a switch—either alight with purpose or dormant in the dark. Yet mornings here, in this wretched hotel, had a different texture as of late. This particular one came on like honey poured from a jar, thick and lazy, and even his sharpest edges dulled in the warmth of it.

Summary
Unusually for the Radio Demon, he took the other’s words to heart, as laughable as that sentence was. How dare he be compared to something so.. so below him! It spoke of weakness, a lack of control. And, he absolutely despised not being in control.
So, his plan was simple. Seduce the King into their bed and take control. Do all the work as the other so graciously usually did, and prove that he is indeed not a pillow princess!
