Summary
Rhaenyra was everything, and she always had been. They’d met in kindergarten, and Alicent had attached instantly. Rhaenyra Targaryen was so brilliant that she was impossible to ignore, and Alicent had taken it upon herself to be right beside her at all times. She was awkward and unsure of herself. Constantly shaking like she had the legs of a newborn deer. She clung to Rhaenyra as if she alone could keep Alicent from falling apart, following whenever her girl went. Once Alicent had found her footing, the tables turned. Now it was Rhaenyra who clung to her, feeling like if she didn’t hold onto Alicent tight enough, she’d slip away. They were inseparable, designed from the start to complete the other. Their souls forever intertwined. They could not be apart; it just wouldn’t work.
