Can’t even get hard anymore?” Hanbin tries to hide his face in the pillow but Hao grabs his jaw and forces him to look. “What, imagining it’s someone else is no longer enough, is that it?” Hanbin bites his lip and scrunches his face. He looks pathetic and Hao is going to be sorry for this in an hour but as soon as he sees this expression all he can feel is contempt, anger, rage.

Maybe, Yujin theorises in the car, watching Hanbin reach over the gap to hold Zhang Hao’s hand, the mimic octopus doesn’t actually sleep at night. Maybe, it’s in its burrows that it learned to copy, thinking of all the sea snakes and the damselfish, over and over, to the best of its memory, forcing its limbs to do the same, over and over, until it gets it right.

Sung Hanbin believes in soulmates, and Sung Hanbin believes that Zhang Hao is his soulmate.
