“What are you going to do now?” Dazai asked him, when the metaphorical dust settled, and Sigma looked up at him at a loss for words. He had been ordered around from the moment he was brought into the world, so he wasn’t used to just...being able to choose what to do with his own life.
Sure, there was a dream, something he wanted for himself. But he hadn’t the faintest idea on how to make it a reality.
“I want to go home” he said finally, voice small, embarrassingly feeling tears coming to his eyes.
“You don’t have a home” that wasn’t a question, so Sigma didn’t answer. Dazai already knew. Smiling easily, like Sigma wasn’t on the verge of a mental breakdown, the man slung his arm around his shoulders “Well, that’s easily fixed. Come work at the Armed Detective Agency” he said, and then “And come live with me”
Or, Dazai and Sigma become rommates, but one of them is in a situationship, the other one pines, befriends the situationship and then pines some more.
