Summary
Gale was an eruption of movement before she could even finish, flinging the tome at her, the only thing saving her head from colliding with its thick spine was her quick reflexes.
“Don’t,” he spat. The veins of lightning on his forehead pulsed, the orb tattoo on his chest seething with a purple light. “Don’t you dare speak of her as if you know her wishes.” His hateful expression crumbled, revealing something hurting underneath. “You think I want this?” He swung his arms wide, to the state of his room. “You think I want any of this? I wanted her. I wanted a life together with her. We planned for a life together. I had bought books for her, to carry back to Waterdeep. I took her to the market one day, and she picked out curtains for us.” His voice wavered and he paused, sucking in a breath between his teeth. “I wanted her. That was all I wanted. But...apparently that was no simple request.”
“So what’s the plan here?” Shadowheart asked. She kept a wary eye out for any more flying tomes and gentled her tone. “Become a god and then, what? Bring her back?”
She waited for him to laugh at the ridiculous notion.
He didn’t, he only met her stare with his own.

Summary
"You cannot say you love me in the same breath you say you intend to leave me!"
She could see Gale's heartbreak written plainly across his features and knew it reflected her own.
Good, she thought viciously, a terrified animal lashing out. Let him hurt, if only to make him see reason.
"It is because I love you that you must let me do this. I can't risk the alternative, decimation I could have prevented had I not been so selfish. Please, let my folly be worth -"
"I'm pregnant!"
Despite the surrounding squeal of burning intellect devourers and the roar of dragons, the world around them seemed to snap quiet.

Summary
“Gale,” you croaked hoarsely, meeting his tearful gaze once again, “It’s not your fault, I promise. It could have happened to anyone. I’m ok, I promise.”
That's definitely a lie. You're not ok, and he can tell.

A retelling of sorts of the romance between Gale and Tav, starting from Act 2, but will go into scenes from Act 1 and eventually Act 3. Lots of fluff, lots of angst, lots of slow burn, and lots of good times with the party :)

Summary
It all came down to this. Every sacrifice, every battle, weeks without sunlight, without warmth.
Ketheric will fall - and the Shadow Curse along with it. All they need to do is survive the battle - and most of them do.
The group has seen their fair share of resurrections leading up to this point, but not her. Despite everything, despite her seriously-shaky sense of self-preservation, Tyv'raeth was the only member of their team that hadn't died.
Tyv'raeth falls.
Gale crumbles.

Summary
Tav has forgotten more lifetimes than he remembers.
OR: The excessively dramatic, self-indulgent semi-meta retelling of BG3, with a half-elf Tav who doesn’t actually know who he is anymore. After centuries of looping, what he does know are the creatures he has loved and those he has destroyed - not always mutually exclusive - and that he's very, very tired.
Characters and tags to be added by chapter as they appear.
