Welcome to my AU kicking off in the 80s, inspired by photos of Connor with longer hair that sent me on a trip down memory lane featuring some of my girlhood crushes. I could just so easily see a long-hair Ilya grinning at a scruffy Shane in a battered Foreigner shirt, and here we are. We first meet them in 1983, when they have been playing hockey together at the University of Minnesota for a bit. We will follow them until 2003.

Going from their weeks at the cottage to being long-distance between Montreal and Boston for the 2017-2018 MLH Season sucks. Shane deciding to take this stupid phone call during a rare holiday weekend together sucks even more.
