There’s a fire beneath the water that pricked at her eyes. Her nails ground against the floor as her stomach cramped. Her back curled upwards as her head filled with fog. She couldn’t focus on it, not when her left hand still tightly held onto her temporarily deceased guardian.
Her head tilts up meeting Matt’s worried gaze, “Elena. Your eyes.”
“What?” she almost growls, her mind still numb as her insides knotted themselves together.
”They’re…” Matt hesitates as he stands back up from his squat position, “They’re yellow.”

Chapter 33
EP becomes besties with Damon, (and klaus) and saves Elana from death. Esther still revives tho (bonnie helps), and Damon confesses to EP about feelings, but she points out he's trying to get her to stay when he doesn't have to. Luka goes to Bon for help. Esther is back, and channeling the Martins this time.
Elena doesn't *willingly* give blood, no one consumes the champagne, and Finn is no.1 of the will die for Effy squad. (Kol will stab him to claim no.1 spot if he finds out the ranking.) After the party Elena breaks up with Stefan before Effy unlocks her memories. Caroline, Bekah and Enzo agree to try poly. Finn tells his sibs the truth.

Chapter 41. Alice owes Elijah a favor. He's definitely more aware of their connection than Alice is picking up on. Rose needed Alice's blood after being cured of her werewolf bite, something has changed about her. Her condition has gotten much worse over the course of a few weeks. Alice, Jen and Rose find hidden records from the founders council that are super fucked up. Jenna leaves to stay on campus and Alice to crash at Elijah's unoccupied apartment when they find out Isobel is alive and Elena had seen her. The night of the school dance happens, then Alice frees Elijah from the dagger. Elena pops up to be annoying/ claim credit, before having a tantrum because she finds out Jenna Knows(tm), and kicks Alice out. A goes to stay with Elijah again at his insistence.
Alice does a ritual the day of the sacrifice to find a solution, using a blood-link to Elijah as an anchor. She doesn't properly unlink when she goes to save Jenna. Rose gives herself up as a sacrifice, and Alice as the witch to get K to back down on killing Jenna.
