    Summary

”Fuck.” Luke says, aloud, and the only reason he doesn’t drop his mug is that he forgets how to move, his uneventful idyllic summer shattering before his very eyes.
“Fuck.” He says, again, under his breath. He thinks a long string of expletives directed at Leia, as he watches the man next door mow his lawn, shirtless.
Which, you know. Is fine. Technically. It's a free country afterall. He’s on his own property, not harming anyone, mowing at a reasonable hour. So Luke shouldn’t be bothered by this.
There’s juuuust the small fact that he’s the hottest guy Luke has ever seen in his entire sorry life.

After a brutal few summers which included (but were not limited to) a workplace injury and a dramatic career pivot, Luke Skywalker is hoping for a nice, relaxing, boring summer.
He thinks he’s got it too, jumping at the chance to house sit for Leia in suburbia.
Her extremely handsome next door neighbour, however, throws a wrench in Luke’s plans.
Din Djarin, for his part, is far too occupied with his career and son to be lusting over yoga-doing next door neighbours.
Both of them do their best to resist.

    Summary

Luke looks up from his computer at the knock on his office door, and blinks in surprise when he sees Mando there, looking… unsure.
    “Can I talk to you?”
“Of course.” Luke says, leaning back in his chair. Mando looks extremely pained as he opens his mouth.
“Luke.” He says, looking as if it took every inch of his self discipline to drag out the single syllable of Luke’s name, “- I need your help.”
“Try saying it like you aren’t getting a lobotomy.”
“Grogu wants to celebrate Christmas this year.” Mando says, evenly. “But I don’t know the first thing about Christmas.”
Whatever Luke was expecting it wasn’t that.
    “Uh. What?”
“I didn’t celebrate Christmas as a kid." Mando looks increasingly frantic, “-you said you had perfect Christmases, what am I supposed to do?”

    -
Din Djarin has never celebrated Christmas before in his life, and yet has an extremely precocious kid who wants to.
Faced with the humiliation of exposing his failures as a parent to his family and friends, he instead turns to the one person whose opinion of him probably can’t get any lower…. and vice versa.
He's hoping for a Christmas miracle, but he might get more than he bargained for.

Do you care about flopping or do you care about getting to make your own music?”

Luke’s chest goes tight. He stares at Fett, thinking over it all; he’s been wanting this for so long and his Father had shot him down at every opportunity. Now, he has another chance, another opportunity to take what he wants without his Father getting in the way of it.

    “I want to make music.”

After a childhood and early adulthood spent as a member of a Boy Band, Luke's life is turned upside down when his status as a transman is revealed to the world. Ousted from his group and without an Agent, Luke is taken in by Boba Fett and the members of the Mythosuars. With his new freedom and the influence of his new rockstar friends slash brothers, Luke begins to explore life as a free adult and what comes with living away from his Father's influence.

    Summary

Maybe it’s how he's always operated. The galaxy, in Din's experience, doesn't give without taking. Every job has a price. Every favor carries debt. Relationships—friendships, partnerships, anything deeper—they’re all built on balance. Effort and reward. Service and compensation. It’s cleaner that way. Safer. You know where you stand.

Din spent his entire life in transactions. Bounties captured, credits paid. Protection offered, loyalty earned. Nothing is free in the galaxy he knows. And maybe that’s why this feels right, even when part of him whispers that it’s wrong.

    or

Din starts paying Luke credits to complete tasks of all kinds—until Din realizes what it is he actually wants.

    Summary

When Din left the Kid with the Jedi, he assumed he'd never see him again. Months later, he can't shake the feeling that he's lost something vital, perhaps even the meaning of his life. When he catches a glimpse of the Jedi on Tatooine, his craving for the clan he's lost spirals, and he finds himself looking for a teacher to help him wield the Darksaber that's made him Mand'alor, amidst the turmoil of Bo-Katan Kryze's effort to reclaim her home planet.

As an unmated alpha without a clan, Din cannot help feeling unworthy. The Jedi and his storm-bright eyes, though, they might just guide him where he needs to be.

    Sneak peek:

    “I cannot see him.”
    Ashoka Tano blinks at him.
    “Why not?”
“He has my ad—the Kid, Grogu, I was told I could not see him again.”
“Ah. Those were the ways of the old Order, my order, the Jedi you think of is of another creed, as you’d say, he will not stop you from seeing the Child again, nor will he turn you away should you still wish to train with him once you meet him.”
Din stops, “Why would I not?” but she only smiles.
    “You shall see."
