The air’s wrenched from Izuku’s lungs like an airplane door flying open. Thick eyeliner is smudged over the blazing scarlet eyes that had enraptured him, striking as sunstones. He hopes it’s the alcohol that’s making him imagine grabbing the drummer and pulling him close, because the alternative is that he’s lost his mind.
His glare narrows into a squint, and it’s enough to send a wave of heat through Izuku. “You’re not fucking me.”
Izuku runs into a familiar face at a local band’s set.

Gaara tried to ignore him, keeping his gaze fixed ahead. He thought that maybe, just this once, Naruto would get the hint and leave him alone. But, as usual, Naruto wasn’t so easily discouraged. He trotted right up to Gaara’s side, grinning.
