It’s a bright Hermitcraft day. Grian wouldn’t know, he thinks wistfully, as he is not outside in it; he is sitting in a bedrock cell. Bedrock below him, bedrock all around him, bedrock above him. Not even a window— that’s just inhumane. The sky was a clear dizzying blue when he woke up this morning, perfect mischief-causing weather, and he is in agony over his mischief-causing being interrupted. It’s a beautiful sky for flying in.
ConCorp’s trap dragged him right out of it.
“If it isn’t our delightful little trophy,” Scar says as he strolls into the cell that Grian’s been sitting alone in for a few hours now since the trap deposited him into it, and the delight is in Scar’s words and his tone and his expression, his body language, leaning forward to rest artfully on his cane.

“Need you to test something," Doc announces, placing a hand firmly on Xisuma's shoulder, asking in that way that lingers between a question and a command. Either way, who is Xisuma to refuse such a handsome… handsome redstoner like Doc, towering above him with his strong, fluffy, quadrupedal lower half.
Xisuma puts down the comparator from the latest machine he was working on, brushing redstone dust off his gloves with a series of claps, “Yeah okay, I got a few, what you need?”
“Take your pants off.”

“The creakies?” Grian asks, folding his arms.
“Doc put them there.” Scar raises his head and pouts miserably. He really does look tired, thinks Grian with a softening heart. Dark circles, streaks of dirt, scratches on his cheek. “They’re all over my base and I can’t get rid of them.”
Exhaustion is evident in his voice, and Grian takes pity on him. “Alright,” he sighs. “Just rest here. I’ll help you get rid of them later. And – why? Why would Doc do that?”
“Apparently I pranked him on the last server,” Scar pouts. “I can't even remember it! I would never, Grian, would I?” He blinks a few times, aiming for innocent but landing more on scheming.
“Yes, you would,” Grian smiles. When he turns away from Scar, his smile drops like a brick. He only barely keeps the accusation from his voice. “Do you think he remembers something?”
“He’s an odd one,” Scar says evasively. He might as well have said yes outright.
That settles it: Grian needs to pay the old goat a visit.~~~~~~
Grian struggles with his memories from previous servers - memories he's not supposed to have. And as Doc feuds with Scar, and no-one explains anything, Grian starts to get sicker and sicker.
