He needed a drink.
Or, Logan made a mistake when he agreed to visit the X-Men. Wade saves the day like the superhero he is.

“We weren’t trying to pass judgment on,” Hank’s eyes flicker towards Wade, who widens his own back at him, “your personal life or choices. But the organization, the school and the kids, their safety, that’s our priority. I know you know that, Logan—”
“What I know,” Logan interrupts viciously, “is that we’re not friends. I know you want us to be, that you think we are, but we’re not. As far as I’m concerned? You’re a stranger to me. And what you should know, as a person with some common fucking sense? Is not to badmouth someone’s fucking boyfriend in the same breath you’re asking them for a goddamn fucking favor.”
If Wade had a pin on him, he’d drop it just to test that theory.
[Five times Logan is feeling protective about his emotional support mercenary, plus the one time Wade saves their budding relationship by putting his foot in his mouth.]

He wasn’t in love with the guy. Some wires had gotten crossed, is all. Adrenaline, fear, elation, anger, pain… all of it had coalesced into a miasma of emotions that swirled around in his chest in the aftermath of destroying the time-ripper and had latched on to the only other solid thing around. That thing just happened to be Wade Wilson.
He’d been in enough fucked up situations to know that near death experiences tended to mess with the brain for a bit. They made people do reckless shit like confess their secrets, fuck people they shouldn’t, even declare their sudden and undying love.
It was chemical and it was psychological. It wasn’t real.
The feeling would pass.
He just needed some time.

Logan realizes he might've made a terrible mistake agreeing to go home with the guy he's maybe sorta kinda fallen in love with. Especially since said guy literally just saved the entire multiverse to get back together with his girl.Didn't he?
