Astarion grit his teeth at the tought of his alleged master. Only a night ago he was ready to turn the world - atleast some of it - for his saviour. But he started to smell a whole bunch of red flags on the man and his pride was actually hurt. No one touched him like this without paying the price for it and Astarion valued himself rather much.
It was then he made a plan. He would play Cazadors game for one more day. Be his “nice little pet”, trick the man into thinking Astarion was becoming comfortable with this arrangement. Get him to feed him blood and with the strength of a well fed vampire tear Cazador down, rip open his throat, drink his blood and become a vampire lord himself. It was below him to be a mere spawn anyways and Cazador was a fucking nuisance.The first night after Astarion had been turned, Cazador had brought him to the Szarr estate, promising a place to stay and a proper meal but it quickly dawned on Astarion that Cazador exerted some kind of control over him he absolutely was not about to tolerate.
Set before the events of Baldurs Gate 3, right after Astarion becomes a vampire.
