Summary
Loosely based on the TV Series 'Blackpool' and a sad result of my ever-worsening David Morrissey obsession. There isn't enough Ripley Holden on the interwebs. So here's what might have happened if there was a whole different back story to the Mike Hooley case. Involving lots of gay sex, plenty of violence and some angst. There's always angst...
Listed solely as M/M because I don't really go into the Peter/Natalie relationship in any detail. There's rather a lot of other embellishment here, obviously (especially about Ripley's childhood). Tagged underage because the two main characters get together aged 15, though the more explicit scenes are written as adults. Also note that the homosexual age of consent in Britain in the 1970s was 21, not 16 as it is now.

Summary
Post-revolutionary France, just before 1800. Erik runs a sanatarium on the outskirts of Paris, where he specialises in the Mesmeric technique of animal magnetism (although Mesmer was driven out of Paris in 1785, his followers continued to practice, and Erik has an obvious advantage). Charles is an aristocrat who was nearly killed during the Reign of Terror. He used his powers to escape but has been gradually driven mad by his experiences.
Can Erik's unorthodox cures help Charles accept his powers again? And is animal magnetism really the explanation for the attraction between the pair...?
Inspired by a comment of my boyfriend’s that “If Magneto were in the nineteenth century, he wouldn’t be a villain – he’d run a spa!”

A slightly re-imagined version of Hartley's firing from STAR Labs. Because the other version was just made safe for TV, right?

Summary
Writer/actor Sam Kisgart* decides to spend his new-found wealth following several successful BBC series with a visit to the Dollhouse to bring to life his ultimate Sherlock Holmes fantasy. No need to know anything about Dollhouse to follow the plot – there’s a brief summary in the notes though.
Holmes and Moriarty are largely based on my other Holmes stories – so Conan Doyle with a little license/how I thought the Dollhouse would likely translate the characters. But feel free to picture Charlie (Holmes) as any former public school boy you so choose. I make no apologies for the fact Moriarty is entirely how I've always wanted him to be, and follows no other canon.
*No prizes for guessing Kisgart’s true identity...

Summary
Set in 1886, six months after Holmes and Moriarty split (at the end of ‘The Final Amendment’). Moriarty is bitter and hurt, but still doesn’t understand why Holmes left him, until they encounter each other again.
As this is narrated by Moriarty, there is little or no moralising: violence/rape/torture are pretty much normal to him. Although this particularly story doesn’t really go into this: bitterness is kind of the main focus!

Summary
Part of a Holmes universe created by myself and others a number of years ago, in which Holmes and Moriarty lived together for a number of years before Holmes met Watson. The series has a loose plot following their lives, told via Holmes' cases, from their first meeting at university in 1881 to their decision to take up politics in the run up to the introduction of the Criminal Law Amendment Bill in 1885.
Holmes is callous to the point of experimenting with some enjoyment with anyone around him (and, as we shall discover, he is also something of a voyeur). Moriarty is openly a violent sadist, and has a particular fascination with blood. It varies as to how much of this is explicit in each particular story: some contain no violence at all. Overall, however, the series look at how easily Holmes might have been led down a very different path.
As all these stories are all narrated by Moriarty, there is little or no moralising: violence/rape/torture are pretty much normal to him. He does, however, possess the sense of entitlement many in his class and position would have held, and also exhibits many of the ideas and the language of his era.
With thanks to Pep, Sage and H, my former partners in crime.

Summary
Mencken dismisses that with a gesture with the bottle. "I want to level with you," he says. "Just you. I don't trust any of those other fuckers. You I get. You and me, we're from the same fucking seed, just in different soil."
"Pretty fucking poetic for being half-loaded," Roman says. His skin is crawling, but it's not unpleasant.
"I'm a politician, I prepare my metaphors in advance," Mencken says. His gaze is fixed on Roman, hard; Roman has the sudden thought that the place could get firebombed and Mencken would still be trying to catch his gaze. "Edge," Mencken says. "Ego. Reputation. Don't you think?"
Roman trips and falls into a very questionable relationship with a fascist.
