Summary
Eyes blearily blinked open to meet his own. An unreal, glittering darkness. Brown and purple and red, like garnet, though it was hard to tell exactly what color they were through the red glass of his mask. Akira stared down at him, nearly giddy with relief. Murderer or not, a small part of his teenage brain was thrilled at the chance to play savior with a cute boy in his arms.
He had to say something cool. Joker would say something cool. So he put on a grin that he hoped looked suave and not leery, and raised an eyebrow as he said, “Come here often?”
A few chance encounters change the fates of two wildcards.

Summary
Killua never let himself believe in the concept of freedom. His family had been shackled down to the Capitol when Grandpa Zeno drove a spear through his partner’s throat. He never let himself hope for an escape, until he met stupidly stubborn Gon, who made things seem like huh, maybe there was a way to find joy in their sorrows.
Building a home together was easy. Creating a life with Gon was natural. Falling in love was inevitable. Excitement replaced dread, and finally Killua relaxed.
What came after was a reminder that nothing ever lasts long.

Summary
"Our plan was to use Sae's palace," Akira says. "We'd pull you into the Metaverse and let you kill her cognition of me in the interrogation room."
Was. It's useless now that Akechi knows, but Akira smiles as he speaks. He's cornered himself, mate in one, but it won't be the first time he's died. At worst he'll restart his probation again, back in April.
At best, they'll move to step two of his real plan, tearing apart Shido's conspiracy one crooked heart at a time until Akechi is as free as his past allows and resoundingly not dead. It'd be easy to resent the world for demanding Akira save it, but at least it's had the decency to let him save his friends along the way. All of them, even the one who only makes the job harder.

Summary
"you don't think the phantom thieves are just?"
"i think your support of the phantom thieves shows your incompetence, detective."
kurusu's tilting his head in a curious manner, and the light glances off his black-rimmed glasses, nearly obscuring his eyes from view.
but goro sees him, sees the hunger, sees the ravenous nature underneath; he sees it because he feels it too: the draw, the deal, and the start of the game.
[a roleswap au; akira kurusu as the calm, professional, cagey detective prince, and goro akechi as the surprisingly charming and well-spoken delinquent transfer student. comes with art!]

Summary
Mentally and physically scarred from her time with Kingdom, there is little in Viper's life other than vengeance and hatred; her trauma causing her to lash out at herself and everyone who tries to be close to her. But the addition of a certain German prodigy to the VALORANT team will change her bleak view of her existence.
In any case, there is still much she doesn't know about the incident that led to her current state. The event must also be linked to the disappearance of her former research partner and friend; but there's hardly any record of him in Kingdom's database. Questions linger in Viper's mind, and perhaps by answering them she can find some small sort of peace in her chaotic present.
