He thought about it. She waited patiently at the threshold of the door. Finally, Alastor just shrugged. “Sometimes, you don’t have to believe in the idea, darling.” He leaned forward until his face was mere inches from her own. From this close, he saw the little freckles that dotted her nose. “You just have to believe in the person,” Alastor said in a low whisper. Loud enough for her ears only.
-Alastor's ratings are taking a dive in numbers and he needs to figure out a way to get back on top. His show producer, Rosie, has the idea to bring on a local, ambitious young woman who is trying to start her own rehabilitation program for the city. The young woman who also happens to be Charlie Morningstar, daughter of New Orleans's most talked about politician. Alastor doesn't believe that Charlie's project will really work, but if he gets his ratings up, isn't that what's important? What he didn't factor, of course, was the chokehold that the young woman would have on him.-

As if it wasn’t hard enough to organise a D&D game, try having players from different dimensions. It’s the first session of the STAR Labs’ crew new D&D campaign. If it goes well, Dungeon Master Cisco is hoping that it may give Harry a good reason to visit Earth-1 a little more regularly. That way, they would have ample opportunity to continue noncommittally flirting and dropping microscopic hints with neither of them having the guts to make the first move.
However, in addition to the expected collection of nerds, wildcard HR has joined the party (despite Harry’s vehement disapproval). His mischievous whims could threaten to derail the delicate balance of the night, but he may just understand the game Harry and Cisco are playing better than they do themselves.

Summary
What happens when you mix paranoia and romance, and sprinkle it with a liberal dose of insecure miscommunication ? Whatever it is, it’s making their coworkers' lives miserable. Harry and Cisco, normally inseparable, haven’t been on speaking terms for a little while and both of them have a pretty good idea why. It’s just too bad neither of them are right. They're pretty sure they’ve broken up, maybe, though neither of them want to, and neither of them have said a word about it.
Can one meddlesome friend finally get these two stubborn messes to have a conversation like adults, or will the confrontation only lead to more trouble?

Hawks has slipped back onto his chair in the meantime. Pushed the bottle away from himself in the process, but he’s keeping the still-full shot glass close at hand. Drink in case of emergency. “Bullshit,” he says. “Don’t play coy, it’s unbecoming for a man your age.”
“I don’t want to influence your decision.”
“You don’t want to–” Hawks would ruffle his feathers in sheer irritation if he still had them. “Really? We’re going there?”
There’s only carrots and potatoes left in Mera’s container, roughly chopped and swimming in lukewarm curry. Hawks watches Mera move the remaining pieces around – probably looking for something more interesting.
“Endeavor said yes when I asked last week,” he says at length. There, he’s finally found it: the last bit of eggplant hiding almost forgotten in a corner. “Jeanist too, if it matters. Yesterday.”
Hawks downs the shot.
(Or, the one where Hawks tries to Figure It Out after the war and slowly realises that he doesn't have to do it alone. It's a love story, baby!)

Summary
As Master King predicted, Sonic loses all of his Cyber powers after the final battle with Supreme. What he didn’t predict, though, was that a small part of his Cyber corruption would remain. The only feasible cure is, predictably, the Chaos Emeralds—all of them.
With his friends off on their own adventures, Sonic must search for the Chaos Emeralds alone. In the meantime, he finds himself growing closer to Shadow, of all people. As Shadow becomes an increasingly prominent figure in his life, Sonic realizes that his feelings for his rival-turned-friend go far beyond what he once thought.
He resolves to push those feelings aside until after he has all the Chaos Emeralds, but as his condition progresses, he finds himself forced to ask for Shadow's help. Working off of flimsy leads from Rouge and the Chaotix Detective Agency, Sonic and Shadow are caught in a race against time.
Will they be able to find all the Chaos Emeralds before Sonic's corruption passes the point of no return?
