Summary
When Bucky Barnes is abducted by political activists, the circumstances are simple enough. Desperation breeds all sorts of terrible decisions, after all, and Bucky's captor is clearly woefully out of his depth. Maybe, just maybe, he can talk his way to freedom, but the more Bucky learns about the circumstances of his capture, the more complicated things seem to get. On the run and forced to trust the man who abducted him, Bucky comes to realize that kidnapping is the least of his worries.

Summary

Steve might be drowning in anxiety but the rumours surrounding Bucky Barnes’ lovelife are too intriguing to ignore.
Therapeutic. An outlet. As though he releases them from their burdens so they can breathe freely.
He can be so prickly, so cold. But they insist behind that facade, he’s sweet, kind. Takes good care of them, afterwards. And his partners, those powerful men? Well, I see the way they orbit around him, simply desperate for his attention.
Steve couldn’t help the triumphant smile; that was exactly what he’d wanted, needed, to hear.

Summary
Bucky Barnes' job as a nurse on the children's ward is demanding, but he loves it. What he's not so fond of? Obnoxious celebrities trying to use sick children to boost their own public image. So naturally Bucky isn't exactly thrilled when Captain America himself, camera team in tow, is announced for a visit to the hospital. Maybe though, just maybe, not all celebrities are self-centered assholes after all?

Summary
Now, Soap's got a healthy amount of superstition, as much as the next guy. He taps twice on the spines of his sketchbooks before opening and closing them. Wrenches his door handle up whenever he enters his room even though that does nothing to lock it, just because back in his childhood home the front door would stick and that was the only way to make sure it was properly shut before the deadbolt would work.
He offers a mindless, habitual prayer whenever they pass by a roadside memorial. Taps his glass once on the table before drinking when on a night out, whenever he's drinking from something made of glass.
Little things. Simple things he barely thinks about, and no one calls him out on in his team. Just another Soap-quirk, one of thousands of little rituals that every man who risks his life on the daily would do if they thought it would put Lady Luck on their side and let them see another sunrise.
But this…thing. This thing has no explanation. No little ritual to make him stop seeing it. It keeps its distance but in that way a haunted doll in films does - with the implicit knowledge that it will get closer, it will move.

Summary
An alternate first meeting, where Ghost and Soap meet each other in the field under infinitely worse circumstances than either of them would have liked:
Ghost wakes up in a pit under a building with a bomb attached to him, certain he's going to die. Soap, an EOD tech amongst his other specialties, is the only person available to at least try to save him. It should be fraught, and tense, and miserable all around, and it is; a whole lot of Ghost slowly losing his mind while Soap does everything he can to save his life. But it would probably be easier if Ghost wasn't a stress-flirter, and if Soap wasn't the kind of endlessly competent that he loved, and if, by virtue of their situation, they didn't keep ripping open each other's wounds and then patching each other back up again after.

Summary
John “Soap” MacTavish and Simon “Ghost” Riley – both star players for their respective EIHL teams – are supposed to hate each other.
On the ice, they do, colliding like war every time their teams face each other, a rivalry that has been going on for years. Off the ice, thought, they share a carefully guarded secret: a long-standing arrangement to burn off steam after every game they play against one another.
When a tabloid photo of Ghost leaving Soap’s flat exposes their secret, their agents force them into a fake relationship to control the narrative. What starts as a PR stunt quickly blurs into something far more dangerous as stolen moments, forced outings, and a long summer together turn lust into something neither of them is prepared to admit.
Caught between public rivalry and private affection, Soap and Ghost must decide whether what they’ve built off the ice is worth making real – before the season, the league, or their own fears tear them apart.

‘Yer full of shite, Lt,’ Johnny’s chuckle sounded wet, and when Ghost opened his eyes, he met Soap’s blues, teary and red-rimmed.
‘I’d do it,’ he insisted, finding Johnny’s hand and squeezing it as much as he could, voice breaking over emotions he was too drugged-up to truly comprehend. ‘Next lifetime?’
‘Aye, Simon,’ Soap nodded, lips wobbling as he was fighting back his tears, fisting Ghost’s hospital gown just a bit more desperately. ‘I’ll take ye up on that.’or
Waiting for too long, holding back in the line of duty, Simon and Johnny get another chance to find our if their banter was ever meant to be something more.
