Summary
The Nameless Bard appears in modern-day Mondstadt, right in front of the church’s statue of Barbatos. Given the striking resemblance between the newly-appeared boy and their own absent god, the people of Mondstadt understandably assume that Lord Barbatos has returned to them at last.

Roughly follows Venti's lore and how his ties to the Nameless Bard effect him throughout time, started off as a loose character study and turned into something else entirely. Mind the tags, they will be updated as I go. -

Summary
Venti desperately clings onto the last ounce of hope that he can survive without Dr. Alatus realising who he is.
The longer they stare at each other, the smaller the office feels. The longer they stare at each other, the more Venti’s convinced he’ll be quitting sooner than later.
Dr. Alatus’s face matches one of a bird, a bird who’s just seen their children get crushed to death by the local farmer.
Today really isn’t Venti’s day.
