Summary
It has been 20 years since Inquisitor 'Manehn Lavellan defeated Corypheus, and 18 years since the Exalted Council. Solas is furthering his plans and so far, all efforts to stop him seem to be in vain....until the Well of Sorrows begins to speak to ‘Manehn once more. Led by ancient magics and beset by enemies from Ferelden and Orlais to Antiva and Tevinter, 'Manehn must gather allies old and new in a race against time to defeat Solas - at any cost.

Summary
An multi-part work expanding on Nevarra, in the Dragon Age universe - inspired by all of the amazing world-building I’ve seen with Rivain to add a little more color to this fantasy Europe landscape.
All the DA wiki gives me for Nevarra is that it was a Tevinter town that got invaded by Alamarri, then Orlesians and it gave me dynasties and dragon hunters and my favorite “straight” butch girl, Cassandra Pentaghast. Also, mummies and pyramids.
I felt strongly that the pyramids and mummification was an obvious homage to Egypt, and some details that are either easily dismissed (i.e. referring to the Pentaghasts as a “clan”) and some that were played off for laughs (i.e. Cassandra Allegra Portia Calogera Filomena “Get on with it!” Pentaghast) also resonated with me as cultural relics or quirks that are distinctly Middle Eastern.
Which means, for my Nevarra worldbuilding, I will be pulling heavily from Middle Eastern cultures and influences.
I will expand Nevarra’s history, add quite a bit on culture (i.e. family, belief systems, holidays, food, basically anything that comes to mind), and maybe introduce my own take on Nevarran language - or at least, what would remain of a Nevarran language.

Ok, ten thousand years ago I promised giveaway fics (back when I was lavellot on Tumblr and had only 300 followers on that blog)
So this is really really embarrassing, but I opened up my old drafts and I wanna try and give the people I promised SOMETHING, even if it’s literally years later and my writing block is pretty bad and it’s hard to write.
So I tried this little poetic thingy and it’s for sadconsolegamer on Tumblr and her fem Cadash with an Iron Bull that betrays you in Trespasser.

Now, plagued with doubt, remorse and regret for what she threw away, she finds a nearby clan to undergo the rituals again, to undo this grave mistake, reaffirm her commitment to her people, and to find some measure of peace and a semblance of redemption.

For the sake of love, she agreed to Morrigan's dark ritual. She perseveres and wins against yet more darkspawn and conspiracies, and stumbles into yet more dark secrets of the Dalish, the dwarves, and the Wardens. She will go through more, if she must, in the greatest quest of her life: to find a cure for the Calling, and discover just what a living hero must do to cope with their own legend.
(Canonish because no one said it *didn't* happen, and I've made sure it fits into the lore, timeline, and more. I obsessively checked the wiki, codex entries, fiction, world books, throwaway dialogue, you name it.)
