Summary
It’s not only the fact that their father is dead. It’s also the trembling of Dick’s hand when Tim breaks the news to him, through a call, as if they were mere cavemen. It’s Jason’s harsh looks, crashing down from his resentment and grief. It’s Cassandra’s eyes staring emptily at the fancy coffin. It’s Alfred’s obsessive cleaning and his solemn face. It’s Damian’s green eyes silently begging him to stay.
It’s everything. It’s Bruce kicking the bucket before Dick got his life together.
OR
“It’s just the way it is,” Bruce muttered beside him, now with one of his many black turtlenecks and formal pants on. His feet were strangely bare. “Dying was never a bargain,” he said, taking two steps forward before inclining himself towards his lifeless body. He seemed to be inspecting his head wound. “Ouch, I’m never going to live this down.”
When Bruce turned to give him one of his trademarked half-smiles, as if waiting for Dick to laugh on cue, the technician cleared his throat.
Dick’s gaze refocused on Bruce’s cold body.
“Well…?”
“Yeah,” Dick let out, his voice shaky. “That’s him.”

In a galaxy far, far away…
Although it is a period of peace in the Galactic Republic, a Jedi Master known as Bruce Wayne faces multiple challenges.
One of his former apprentices, Padawan Dick Grayson, seeks his help to capture and bring to justice a new ruthless Sith that has been identified as the culprit for various attacks and assassinations around the galaxy.
To successfully complete their mission, the Jedi must look deeply into their past, communicate their regrets, and learn that forgiveness is just as valuable as the Force living within them…

Summary
𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝·𝐲
/ˈ𝘬ā(𝘴) ˌ𝘴𝘵ə𝘥ē/
a process of research in which detailed consideration is given to the development of a particular person [Tim], group [Batfamily], or situation [Jason being home] over a period of time.OR
After Tim Drake-Wayne realizes that his adoptive dad is lost in the time stream and not dead like everyone believes, things start to take a turn he haven't expected. His older brother thinks he's insane, an assassin child takes his mantle and the only person offering to help him is the ruthless grandfather of said child. Tim, with his new hero identity, drowning in uncertainty and lost as hell, but willing to find Bruce as fast as he can, decides to work with the League of Assassins, ultimately saving his dad.
After everything he went through he just wants to rest and do his thing without having to suffer anymore but he is...him and life is unfair. Honestly, he expected it--yet he can't help but feel empty, seeing how everything's working out for his family, how effortless it's for them to pretend they hadn't given up on him when he'd needed them the most...How easy it is for them to accept his nearly-murderer at home, no questions asked.
Tim reckons he'll just have to adapt.

Summary
“You’ve seen them, though?” Erling asks, too curious to be truly causal. It’s like he’s actually asking— though why, Jude has no real idea. “The memes?”
“Yeah I’ve seen them,” Jude tuts. “Fucking Grealish forwards every one he gets his hands on.”
“Same for me,” Erling says, and he looks thoughtful a moment, a sort of fleeting thing Jude can’t really read. “It’s interesting.”

Summary
"The enemy," Erling repeated, clearly bemused. “I didn’t know we were at war with each other.”
Jude looked up at him, shaking his head as he rolled his eyes. “Oh, you know what I mean. They’re dramatic as hell, I’d rather not have to deal with the headache.”
Jude reached out, his fingers brushing against the hem of Erling's shirt. Erling's hand shot out, gripping the back of Jude's neck. It wasn't a violent gesture, but it was possessive, his large palm covering nearly the entire nape of Jude's neck, fingers digging slightly into the muscle. He pulled Jude closer, their chests colliding.
"If being caught visiting me would be such a headache," Erling whispered, his breath warm. “Then why beg to see me in the first place?”

Summary
“I thought I’d feel fine playing against you, but I’ve been thinking about us all week and I can’t get it off my mind when you do shit like—” Jude cut himself off mid-ramble. “Like…”
Erling reached out, subconsciously tilting Jude’s chin up with his fingers to make him meet his gaze. “Like?”
Jude’s ears flushed pink, eyelashes fluttering. “Like—shit like that, Erling,” he whispered. “Don’t do this to me.”
Or: Jude shows up at Erling's hotel room the night after the England vs. Mexico game. They talk, among other things.
