Summary
Don Quixote held Gregor's weapon carefully in her hands. He’d never allowed someone else to get so close to it before, never allowed someone to land even the lightest of touches on the bladed parts.
Gregor could easily set aside his discomfort at being bitten to help her out, but being turned was a completely different problem.
But she trusts him. And something tells Gregor that she wants to prove that she can trust herself, too.

What the hell does he want?
If it is dignity he wants, then he had better quit while he has most of it, when the still-small bulge in his pants can go away if he were to just back off and give himself a few minutes to cool down. Can still throw her off with a fib if it catches her eye and she asks about it, with a shrug and a “just a crease in my trousers”.
But if it is pleasure he wants?
No. He’s going to stop himself right there.
He does not want pleasure, does not want his body to think he does, to proceed to spell it out loudly and clearly the way it tends to do, making him burn and boil inside when he denies it. Besides, this is the wrong time and the wrong place and the…
… the wrong person.

“Oh! Yeah.” She scratches the back of her neck, regretting not having hidden it away. “Y’know, just, once in a while.”
Yet, when she finally meets Faust’s eyes, they’re not narrowed in judgement or disbelief. They’re dilated in an almost flattering, scientific intrigue.

When Dante’s tablet is discovered to be capable of summoning multiple identities of the same sinner, Ryoshu has a great idea.

Event 1: Don Quixote's been suffering from persistent bouts of violent coughing. The clock rewinds, rewinds... and rewinds, but still her illness lingers.
Event 2: Heathcliff turns his back for a moment (fine, a few moments), and his secret notebook "mysteriously vanishes" into thin air. In the place where it was, lies a singular rose petal.
Event 3: Don Quixote starts growing out her hair.
