It's been months since Naruto and the others ventured out to the moon, and thus it's been months since Naruto and Hinata started dating. Everything is smooth-sailing, until he's assigned to a mission with Sasuke after two years of not seeing him. Sasuke has always been number one in his life, and it is only now that Naruto is forced to reflect on that.

“Have you?” he asks breathily, his voice a different shade of quiet from what it usually is.
“Yeah,” Naruto confirms, leaning in closer. “Always.”
Always. He lets the word permeate the air, saturating the atmosphere in its sickly sweetness. If he really thinks about it, always is just another word for forever.
Somehow, it sounds like both a confession and a promise all at once.
Rebuilding severed bonds and mending fractured love, one visit at a time.

Summary
The Fūma clan has posed a threat to the Uchiha clan once they had stolen the second prince. Now that he has been returned by an unknown savior, Fugaku sets out to find a way to stay two steps ahead and keep both his family and people safe.
He finds that the best answer is to reach out to Uzumaki clan: a nomadic horse-mounted warrior clan that barely any of the other clans have documented. Their bond with horses is so strong that it is said that they are said to be born, fight, and die in the saddle.
They'll need to strike a deal with the Uzumaki's if they plan to keep their clan alive. However, the Uchiha's have heard the tales about the demon child that prowls amongst the Uzumaki's and, when a certain Uchiha prince catches the eye of the demon, their world gets turned upside down.

Essentially I became fixated on writing something that's a mixture of Naruto / Game of Thrones / Inuyasha where the setting takes place in Fuedal Japan, has some aspects of Game of Thrones, and, obviously the Naruto cast and (somewhat?) of it's story. Come along for the ride that is this crazy mix brewing in my head haha

Visiting his parents for the holidays was never easy for Sasuke. Running away and spending his Christmas with the annoying, hot blond stranger he'd met on the bridge was not what he'd call the healthiest course of action. But there was just something about the way Naruto smiled that made him hard to walk away from.
