Summary
“Reo,” he quickly introduces himself. When Nagi continues staring at him, he realizes Nagi’s expecting a full name from him in return. His eyes catch on the name emblazoned on Nagi’s computer. “...Mikage,” he decides impulsively. “Reo Mikage.”
Nagi’s eyebrows raise before his gaze dips to his computer, then back to Reo. “Like… Mikage corporation, Mikage?”
“...yes?”
“Cool,” Nagi hums after a pause. “Can you give me money?”
“Ah… no.” Reo was at least pretty sure humans weren’t in the habit of exchanging money at their first interaction. Nagi turns back to his computer, obviously disinterested, so Reo hurries to continue. “But I can give you something better.”
“Better than money?” Nagi asks skeptically, before he tilts his head to the side. “Video games?”
Reo… might have his work cut out for him.
“No,” he says again firmly before puffing out his chest and flashing Nagi a confident grin. “I, Reo Mikage, am going to make you, Seishiro Nagi, fall in love!”
Nagi blinks at him slowly before turning back to his computer.
“No thanks.”

Reo continues, half talking to himself, “But—you don’t get provoked easily even when people taunt you—did Shidou insult you? What did he say?”
Nagi just shakes his head.
“Ah,” Reo blinks, and his expression melts into a small, sad smile, looking down into Nagi’s wide, apprehensive eyes. “Did he say something about me?”

“What the HELL is that,” Reo wheezes out. “Chigiri, what—what is that—”
Chigiri glances at his phone. “Oh,” he says blandly. “Yeah, didn’t I tell you they primarily make ship art?” He squints at Reo. “This isn’t the first time you’ve seen a ship account, why are you acting so—”
“They drew Nagi,” Reo shrieks, pointing an accusing finger at Chigiri’s phone, “shoving me into a wall—”
“It’s called a kabedon,” Chigiri says unhelpfully. Reo’s mouth flaps open and closed. Chigiri sighs. “Why are you so scandalized by this? I’ve seen you not even flinch at stuff way more scandalous than this.”
“Because it’s Nagi,” Reo stresses. “Give—give me the phone back—” He scrabbles for the phone in Chigiri’s hands, and once he’s got a hold of it, he brings it close to his face so that his nose nearly touches the screen. “And we’re kissing?”

There’s a pause, an audible hitch in his breath, and then Reo laughs without humour, pressing his face into his palms.
“You’re so fucking greedy, you know that?”
Reo falls first, but Nagi falls harder.
