Summary
Oikawa Tooru has been surrounded by magic all his life.
As a witch himself, he’s been trained in magic since he was five, so it’s not unnatural for weird things to happen to him. After all, Oikawa has already been cursed, spelled up and down, written on in places a fourteen-year-old should not have been written on, and made potions, for God’s sake, like goddamn Harry Potter.
Magic is tempermental. It is weird, and strange, and Oikawa is used to it, after being exposed to perhaps the oddest things magic has to offer.
But nothing prepares Oikawa for the shock he feels as he watches a tattoo spread across his arm.Bookmarked by akaSabertooth

Summary
Iwaizumi hadn’t lost a match yet. Not during practice or in the arena, and a lot of the other gladiators resented him for his skill. The opinions of others didn’t matter, though. He fought hard and gained popularity all while upholding a respectable image.
In nearly a month’s time, the fortune he had accumulated after years of combat would be enough to finally leave the city and make a life for himself elsewhere.
That was, until he met Oikawa Tooru.

Summary
One day, Iwaizumi Hajime met his soulmate, and Oikawa managed to convince himself that his window of opportunity had closed.
But when Iwa-chan didn't fall head over heels into his soulmate's arms, Oikawa figured maybe one (1) high school conversation wasn't something he should be basing the rest of his life around. Maybe it's time to dig deeper. Maybe 'soulmates' didn't have to be the cage Oikawa had been thinking of them as.

Summary
“I still can’t believe he’s gone.” Oikawa chokes out.
Hanamaki shuffles down to wrap an arm around Oikawa who is now hunched over with his head in his hands, sobbing violently. He feels his own eyes water, even as he tries his hardest to keep a straight face as he comforts his friend.
He’s right, Hanamaki thinks biting down as hard as he can on his lip to stop it from trembling, that’s all that’s left now: memories.
“What if,” Matsukawa says quietly, staring at his hands interlocked in front of him, “there was a way to bring Iwaizumi back?”

Summary
Oikawa Tooru had a plan. He would be accepted into a good volleyball university (check), then be scouted and join a pro volleyball team before eventually making it onto the national team. He knew he could do it, despite being a beta. Then he had to present late as an omega.
It was fine. He was fine. Tooru could handle this. All he had to do was use scent blockers to make sure no one would find out because omegas simply didn't play pro. He knew he wouldn't be able to keep the secret forever, but just until he was past his volleyball prime would be good. He should have known he couldn't keep it from Iwa-chan.
--
"What if I scent mark you?""What?" Tooru blinked.
"If I scent marked you, it would help mask your actual scent in case your blockers wore off. You'd mostly just smell like me." Iwaizumi explained.
"Yes but, won't people assume we're dating?"
"So? Let them."
--
And that was how Tooru agreed to essentially let Iwa-chan be his fake boyfriend.Bookmarked by akaSabertooth

Summary
Oikawa never thought he’d end up here.
Sure, he came willingly. But it was at the recommendation of his therapist, and parents.
Well, his parents didn't really recommend it. They said that, either he went, or they would stop supporting his therapy and would kick him out. He couldn't let either of those things happen.
At least in an institution, he wouldn't be on his own any more. His new therapist would be on call twenty-four seven if he needed it, and Oikawa would be around people like himself. People recovering from trauma, and people who knew what it was like to look in the mirror every day and wonder if that was the day they finally lost it.

Summary
“ Tooru, you know how you can’t see colors but mommy can? “ He said nothing, quietly he sat impatiently waiting for what seemed to be a big deal. His mother looked expectantly at him and he nodded, although he could see the colors— They were there. Blue, red, teal, everything. And suddenly that felt like a curse when his mother began to explain, “ Well, when mommy met daddy she was able to see the colors. When you meet your wife you will see them too. It’s called a soulmate, and then everything will not be gray, so if you meet someone and you see colors tell mommy ok?. “ Oikawas heart stopped at the last sentence, his mother noticed the shock on his face she furrowed her eyebrows in worry. Opening her mouth to speak, he interrupted her and cut in—
“ Momma, not everything is gray for me though... “
And that’s just how it all started.

The boy squinted at the jar in his hands and asked, "Your mom is a plant witch, right?"

Tooru hesitated. Then slowly, deflating, he shook his head no.An Iwaoi story about growing up, being perfectly ordinary in a small town filled with magic, and slowly falling in love with your best friend.
