For a moment, Tony's brain tried to override the information with static, tried to nope its way back to the playlist and the unfinished bolt and anything else but Peter Parker making a $899 charge on his corporate card.
Because Peter didn’t do that.
Peter, with his sheepish smiles and dogged insistence on “earning it.” Peter, who took longer to agree to coffee money than some people did to accept a free house. Peter, who Tony literally employed, who had a perfectly valid stipend and internship wages and still acted like buying Pop-Tarts with lab petty cash was a felony.
That Peter? No. No way.

“I heard somebody over here's handing out free diamonds and promising vacation getaways, figured I had to check it out.” He has to turn his back to throw a punch as a goon tries to come up behind him, which sucks, because he really wanted to see the lecherous grin that's definitely coming through Deadpool's mask right now.
“Ohhh, baby boy!” Deadpool groans as he skewers a few guys. When they both get a break in the fighting long enough to turn and look at each other, Wade raises a katana and points it at Peter before jumping right back into, “Lucky for you that's what I like.”
or: When Deadpool gets injured in battle and it screws up his scent blockers, Peter finds out that not only is Wade not an Alpha as he'd assumed, he's also an Omega...who scents like mate. And that delicious scent might have just triggered his rut.
or: the author really got obsessed with imagining the boys singing That's What I Like by Bruno Mars to each other and, well, now we're here.
