Kazuma wants to protest further, but he can already feel his exhaustion slowly returning the longer this drags on.
“Alright, fine,” he says in defeat. “But just one week, and no more.”
Several months ago, Barok had approached Kazuma with a request to bring his brother back to life, only to soon find himself developing an obsessive infatuation with him. Now, after an unexpected night together, the two of them try to continue on with their initial arrangement, but that may not be as easy as either of them might have hoped.

“Mr. Asougi, that’s—” Barok’s breath nearly caught in his throat, his heart aflutter. “You don’t have to—”
“Yes, I do,” Asougi said, a noticeable hint of exasperation in his tone. “Please, you were there for me once, when I needed it. Let me return the favor.”
There was nothing that Barok could say in response to that, for he understood the sentiment all too well. He hesitated for another moment, shifting awkwardly in his seat, before he finally gave in and returned the embrace.
Months ago, Barok was there to lend a helping hand to Kazuma when he'd needed it the most. Now, he finds himself in need of that same comfort he'd once offered.
