Taerae blinks, paralysed with disbelief. He's trying to process everything Hao said, utterly speechless as heat pools in his cheeks. But whichever way he looked at it, it doesn't make sense why Jiwoong would like someone like him, and right after they reunited.

Summary
The back of the display case opens to be refilled as both Taerae and Choonhee are staring inside, and Taerae looks up out of habit, eyes landing on the face of the person refilling the pastry case.
It’s the most beautiful face he’s ever seen, and it startles him so badly that Taerae backs up from the pastry case as if it’s burned him, promptly knocking over the rope divider that forms the queue for the register. The clang it sends across the peaceful bakery is so loud that everyone turns to look at him, including the beautiful man hunched over the pastry case, now peering at Taerae over the top with concern in his eyes.
or: Taerae shoots his shot with Jiwoong with the help of the eight year old he babysits and a little bit of salt and sugar.

Taerae watches Jiwoong through the cameras almost every night of his life, and now, uncertainty about the job giving them pause for the first time, he realizes how much he cares for Jiwoong’s safety.
It’s annoying. Jiwoong is annoying. He’s not allowed to die so that Taerae can continue to call him annoying.
