Summary

Look, I don’t really read Mario fanfic, but if you know who “Mr. L” is you NEED to read this series! It’s so so so good from start to finish, keeps the tone of a normal Mario story while emphasizing their brotherly bond (ALSO THE SUPER MADIO RPG REFERENCES!!!)

Four years had passed since the events that deepened the divide between RED and BLU. Four years after the incidents that clung to both teams - unspoken occurences that nobody dared to acknowledge, yet were ever able to forget. There were paths that should have never been crossed; lines that should have never been blurred. Although tense, and uncomfortable, things were safer - things were easier - if they remained the same.
